Pell Bridge Run wins “Best Race / Fitness Event”

In an amazing destination like Newport, Rhode Island, narrowing down the best of anything is not an easy task. So it is with thanks and humility that the Gray Matter Marketing team accepted the “Best Of” award for “Best Race / Fitness Event” on behalf of the Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority for the Citizens Bank Pell Bridge Run. The run, a charitable event that raises money for local non-profit organizations, takes runners and walkers over the iconic Pell Bridge in a unique Rhode Island road race. Each year, Newport Life Magazine recognizes local organizations and businesses that have been voted the BEST by its readers. The event was held in beautiful Rosecliffe (site of the original Great Gatsby film starring Robert Redford). We were pleased to see so many other great local organizations, including Gray Matter Marketing client DeCastro Landscaping, honored with these awards. Proceeds from this event benefited the Preservation Society of Newport County.
